Is your printer not connected to Shopbox?


  1. Close Shopbox.

  2. Open "Settings on the iPad.

  3. Select "Bluetooth".

  4. Check if "Star Micronics" is connected. If not, press it to reconnect.

  5. If this does not work, restart both iPad and printer and start over.

  6. Now that it is connected, we can leave "settings".

  7. Open Shopbox.

  8. Tap the white printer icon at the top of the screen.

  9. Press "Main printer".

  10. Press the reload button (half circle ending in an arrow).

  11. Click on the field that says "Click here to select printer".

  12. Select the "BT Star Micronics" printer.

  13. Press "OK". Press "SAVE". Press "Yes" to connect and make a test print.

  14. Now that you have connected the printer, we can leave the printer settings by pressing the arrow pointing to the left.

Error codes:

  1. Power light = On
    Error light = Flashing every two seconds
    Solution = Change receipt paper

  2. Power light = On
    Error light = On
    Solution = Close the printer cover

  3. Power light = Flashes every second
    Error light = On
    Solution = Close the inside cover of the printer

  4. Power light = Flashing every other second
    Error light = Not on
    Solution = Allow the printer to cool

  5. Power light = Flashes every 4 seconds
    Error light = Not on
    Solution = Allow the printer to cool

  6. Power light = On
    Error light = Flashing every 0.25 seconds
    Solution = Fix the paper in the printer it is stuck / wrong

  7. Power light = On
    Error light = Flashing every 0.5 second
    Solution = Turn off the printer, remove the paper from the printer, load the paper correctly, turn on the printer.

  8. Power light = On
    Error light = Flashes once per second
    Solution = Check that the paper is the correct size for the printer.
