This is an easy quick-step guide to set up your new printer.

Preparation

Before we can connect the printer, we have to insert paper and connect the power supply.
Connect the power supply to the printer via the DC 24V port.

Thereafter you put the power supply in the outlet fro the wall.
Printer will now turn on. You can also press the power button on the right. Look a the picture below if in doubt.

Now we put in the paper. The size required is 80x80x12.
Click on the handle on the left, as shown beneath.

The front opens and then you can insert the paper.
Make sure the paper rolls over the top instead of under.
Now close the front, then af little paper slip should come out.
If that doesn't happen the paper isn't correctly put in,
When the paper is correctly put in and the printer is turned on we can start connecting it to the iPad.

On the iPad

Go to Appstore and download mC-Print Utility or click the button below.

USB

If you wish to connect the printer to your iPad via USB, you need to take the iPad charger and put in the USB port called "iPad 2.4A". If in doubt look at picture below.

On the iPad

Open the mC-Print Utility app and press "Selected Printer".

Here the printer will show up with the name "MCPXX".
Press on that device.
Go to Shopbox and press the printer icon at top-right corner.
Press on "Main printer".
Press on the "update" button to the right (half-circle with an arrow at the end).
Press on the area below "Main printer" where it says "Click here to select printer".
There will appear a grey box at the bottom. Select the "BT:mCprint3" and press "Done" on the right-hand side.
Press "Save" and then "Yes" to save the connection and to a test print.
The printer will print a little paper slip with the wording "Main printer test", that means that the printer is connected and ready for use in Shopbox.

LAN

 If you wish to connect your printer via LAN, you need to connect a ethernet cable between a router/switch and the port in the printer called "LAN".

On your iPad

Open the mC-Print Utility and press on "Selected Printer".

Here the printer will be shown in the section called "LAN", but still be named "MCPXX" and the printers IP-address at the end. fx. 192.168.2.101.
Press on that device.
Go to Shopbox, and press the printer icon at the top of your screen.
Select "Main Printer".
Press the "update" button (half-circle with an arrow at the end).
Press on the area below "Main printer" where it says "Click here to select printer".
There will appear a grey box at the bottom. Select the "TSP:XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX" and press "Done" on the right-hand side.
Press "Save" and then "Yes" to save the connection and to a test print.
The printer will print a little paper slip with the wording "Main printer test", that means that the printer is connected and ready for use in Shopbox.

Connect the cashier draw

To connect the cashier drawer, you need to take the cable at the bottom of your drawer and insert that in to the port at the back saying "cash drawer/Buzzer".
